The bucket elevator is primarily utilized across various industries, including grain processing, animal feed production, coal handling, metallurgy, and cement manufacturing, among others. It is excellent for elevating materials such as granules, powders, small blocks, or even oilseed cleaning. However, the TDTG type double barrel bucket elevator is not suitable for materials exceeding 60ºC, those with large impurities, oil seepage, or corrosive substances. Its salient features include:
1. The bottom side plate is movable, facilitating easy maintenance.
2. The tail wheel, head wheel, and shafts are connected with a flat key for secure fixation.
Structure and Working Principle:
This machine consists of the elevator top, machine barrel, elevator bottom, rubber belt (or chains), and buckets. The rubber belt runs between the head wheel and the tail wheel, with buckets affixed at specific intervals. Material enters the elevator via the inlet; the buckets scoop up the material, which is then elevated by the moving belt, discharged over the head wheel, and exits through the outlet. The elevator bottom is equipped with a plug board and spiral tension device for easy cleaning.
1. The elevator top comprises the chain drive section, head cap, discharge, bearing housing, shaft, and head wheel. Users have three options for power transmission:
1) Reducer through flexible coupling direct drive.
2) Chain and sprocket drive.
3) V-belt pulley drive.
2. The elevator box is constructed from angle steel and steel sheet.
3. The elevator bottom includes an inlet, discharge gates on both sides, and a spiral tension device for adjusting the bucket belt. It can also be fitted with a dust pipe after removing the cover.
4. There are two types of conveyance mechanisms: rubber belt and chain. The ends of the rubber belt are secured with specialized belt bolts, while the buckets are mounted onto the belt or chains with bucket bolts, nuts, and spring washers.
5. Two bucket types are available: deep and shallow. Deep buckets are designed for granular materials, whereas shallow buckets are intended for powdery materials.
