Working Principle
The Tube Chain Conveyor is ingeniously designed to transport bulk materials such as powders,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube channel. The chain piece acts as the driving component, propelling the material smoothly along the tubular pathway.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
In horizontal conveying, material granules experience thrust in the direction of motion. When the friction between material layers surpasses the outer friction from the tube wall, a stable material stream is formed by the chain disc, ensuring a steady flow.
(2) Vertical Conveying
During vertical conveying, material granules are subjected to upward thrust from the chain disc. As the lower material hinders the downward glide of the upper material, lateral compression occurs, enhancing internal friction. When this internal friction exceeds the friction from the tube walls and material's weight, the material is effortlessly conveyed upwards, forming a continuous stream.
