Working Principle
The Tube Chain Conveyor is designed for the continuous conveyance of bulk materials, such as powder,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube channel. It employs a chain piece as the driving component to transport the material along the tube channel.
1. Horizontally Conveying
When conveying horizontally, material granules are subjected to thrust in the direction of motion. If the friction between material layers exceeds the friction against the tube wall, the material moves forward, forming a stable material stream driven by the chain disc.
2. Vertically Conveying
When conveying vertically, material granules in the tube experience upward thrust from the chain disc. As the downward-feeding material prevents upper material slippage, lateral compression increases inner material friction. When this internal friction surpasses the friction against the tube and the material's own weight, the material is conveyed upward by the chain disc, forming a continuous upward material stream.
