Working Principle
The tube chain conveyor is designed for the continuous conveyance of bulk materials such as powders,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube channel. By utilizing a chain piece as the driving component, it effectively moves materials along the tube channel.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
During horizontal conveyance, material granules experience thrust in the direction of motion. When the friction between material layers exceeds the outer friction from the tube wall, the material advances, forming a stable material stream with the aid of the chain disc.
(2) Vertical Conveying
For vertical conveyance, material granules within the tube receive upward thrust from the chain disc. The downward feeding of material prevents upper material from sliding down, causing lateral compression and increasing internal friction. When internal friction among material layers surpasses the friction from the tube's inner wall and the material's own weight, the material moves upward, creating a continuous material stream.
