Working Principle
The tube chain conveyor is designed for the efficient continuous conveyance of bulk materials like powder,,small granules, and small lumps. Within the sealed tube channel, materials move along the path propelled by the chain piece used as the driving component.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
During horizontal conveying, material granules are driven by a thrust in the direction of motion. When the internal friction between material layers exceeds the external friction with the tube wall, the material moves forward, forming a stable material stream carried by the chain disc.
(2) Vertical Conveying
In vertical conveying, material granules face upward thrust from the chain disc. The downward feeding material prevents upper material slippage, causing lateral compression and increasing internal friction. When this internal friction surpasses the friction with the tube’s inner wall and the material's own weight, the material is efficiently conveyed upward by the chain disc, forming a continuous material stream.
