Working Principle
1) Horizontal Transport
In horizontal transport mode, the scraper chain engages the material directly. The combined friction between the material and the trough walls stabilizes the material, while the scraper chain’s thrust propels everything forward as a unified mass.
2)Vertical Transport
During vertical transport, the combined forces of the scraper's thrust, material gravity, and pressure from the lower to upper segments generate lateral pressure against the trough walls. This pressure maintains material stability, preventing slippage and ensuring smooth upward movement by counteracting gravitational and frictional forces.
