Working Principle
1) Horizontal Transport
During horizontal transportation, the direct action of the scraper chain creates a force where the traction level and material cohesion exceed the friction with the trough walls. This cohesion forms a unified material flow, propelled forward by the scraper's thrust.
2)Vertical Transport
In vertical transport, materials are propelled by the scraper's thrust and their own gravity. The pressure created by the material on the bottom supports the material above, forming lateral pressure against the trough walls. This stabilizes the material flow, enabling it to move upwards despite gravity and friction.
