Working Principle
The Tube Chain Conveyor excels as a continuous device for transporting bulk materials such as powders,small granules, and small lumps. Within its sealed tube channel, materials are propelled along the channel by the chain piece serving as the drive component.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
During horizontal conveying, material granules receive thrust in the direction of movement. When the friction between material layers surpasses the friction from the tube wall, the materials advance, forming a stable material stream facilitated by the chain disc.
(2) Vertical Conveying
In vertical conveying, material granules inside the tube are pushed upward by the chain disc. The feeding of material below prevents the upper material from sliding back, causing lateral compression and increasing internal friction. When the internal friction between material layers exceeds the friction from the tube walls and the material's weight, the material is conveyed upward by the chain disc, forming a continuous material stream.
