Working Principle
The tubular chain conveyor is a continuous device engineered to transport bulk materials, including powder,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube channel. By utilizing a chain piece as the driving component, it ensures the material moves consistently along the tube.
(1) Horizontally Conveying
During horizontal conveyance, material granules endure thrust from the direction of motion. When the friction between material layers surpasses the external friction from the tube wall, the material progresses forward, forming a stable material stream propelled by the chain disc.
(2) Vertically Conveying
In vertical conveyance, material granules within the tube experience upward thrust from the chain disc. As the downward material feed prevents upper material slippage, lateral side compression occurs, increasing internal friction. When this internal friction exceeds the friction from the inner tube wall and the material's self-weight, the material is driven upward by the chain disc, creating a continuous material stream.
