Working Principle
The Tube Chain Conveyor is designed for the continuous transport of bulk materials such as powders,,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube. It moves materials along the tube channel using chain pieces as the driving component.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
In horizontal conveying, material granules are subjected to thrust in the direction of motion. When the friction between material layers surpasses the outer friction from the tube wall, a stable material stream is formed by the chain disc, propelling the material forward.
(2) Vertical Conveying
In vertical conveying, material granules experience upper thrust from the chain disc. Downward material feeding prevents upper material glissade, causing lateral compression and increasing internal friction. When the internal friction exceeds the friction from the tube walls and the material's own weight, the material is lifted upwards by the chain disc, forming a continuous material stream.
