Main Structure
The Scraper Conveyor is composed of a trough, scraper chains, head and tail wheels, inlet and outlet points, a drive device, and a tensioning device.
Working Principle
1) Horizontal Transport
In horizontal transport mode, the scraper chain's thrust generates a greater internal frictional force than the friction between the material and the trough wall. This cohesive force propels the material forward efficiently under the scraper's thrust.
2)Vertical Transport
During vertical transportation, the material is elevated by the combined force of the scraper and the material's own weight. The internal friction overcomes gravity and trough friction, ensuring stable vertical movement.
