Working Principle
1) Horizontal Transport
During horizontal transport, the direct action of the scraper chain ensures that the material level's static friction exceeds the friction between the trough wall and the material, forming a cohesive unit that moves forward under the scraper's thrust force.
2)Vertical Transport
In vertical transport, materials are propelled upwards by the scraper's thrust and the material's own gravity. The vertical pressure from materials on the bottom supports the upper materials, creating lateral pressure within the trough. This pressure stabilizes the material, ensuring smooth upward movement under the overall thrust of the scraper chain.
