Working Principle
1) Horizontal Transport
In horizontal transport mode, the scraper chain directly engages the material. The combined friction between the material and the trough walls stabilizes the material, while the scraper chain's thrust propels everything forward as a unified mass.
2)Vertical Transport
For vertical transport, the scraper's thrust, combined with material gravity and pressure from lower to upper segments, exerts lateral pressure against the trough walls. This ensures material stability, preventing slippage and facilitating smooth upward movement by overcoming gravitational and frictional forces.
