Working Principle
Designed for the efficient conveyance of bulk materials, the Tube Chain Conveyor is perfect for transporting materials such as powders,small granules, and small lumps within a sealed tube channel. The system propels the material along the tube using a chain piece as the driving component.
(1) Horizontal Conveying
During horizontal conveyance, material granules experience thrust in the direction of motion. When the friction between material layers surpasses the outer friction from the tube wall, the material advances, forming a stable material stream propelled by the chain disc.
(2) Vertical Conveying
In vertical conveyance, material granules in the tube receive an upward thrust from the chain disc. The downward feeding material prevents upper material from slipping, causing lateral compression and increasing inner friction. When this inner friction surpasses the friction from the tube's inner wall and the material's self-weight, the material ascends, forming a continuous material stream.
