Main Structure and Working Principle:
The machine comprises a robust frame, feeding house, main shaft, cylinder, screw, separator tank, discharge ring, sleeve spindle, discharge end bearing house, discharge end lid, and control elements such as the rotor arm, handwheel, and screw rod (see attached figure).
Rice enters the cylinder via the feeding house. The main shaft is supported by the feeding support at one end and the discharge end bearing house by the bearing and sleeve spindle at the other. One end of the cylinder is fixed to the main shaft through the feeding end lid, while the other is supported on the sleeve spindle by the discharge ring bearing. The screw leaf blade is affixed to the main shaft. One end of the separator tank is supported by the main shaft bearing, while the other end is fixed to the sleeve spindle to allow simultaneous rotation. The sleeve spindle is supported on the discharge end bearing house by a bearing, and the end is fixed with the rotor arm, which serves as the separator tank control element. The working principle of the Length Grader involves the main shaft driving the cylinder and screw to rotate together, while the separator tank's position is adjusted externally via the sleeve spindle and control element.
This machine utilizes a single cylinder for selection, effectively separating broken rice from head rice.
